By accessing or using signedmddo.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and license holders.
Signed MD | DO is a physician offer analysis tool that helps FM, IM, and hospitalist physicians evaluate and compare job contracts. The Service provides a scored analysis across five domains — compensation, workload, benefits, contract risk, and fit — along with AI-powered guidance via the Aloo chatbot.
The Service is a screening and decision-support tool only. It does not constitute legal advice, financial advice, or medical advice. Scores and guidance are intended to help you identify areas of concern and prepare for negotiation — not to replace formal contract review by a licensed attorney. We strongly recommend consulting a physician contract attorney before signing any employment agreement.
Upon purchasing a license ($99 per specialty), you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for the specialty you have purchased. Your license:
Resident physicians who have applied and been approved for complimentary access are subject to the same terms, with the exception of the purchase requirement.
You agree not to:
If the Service does not function as described — for example, if your license key cannot be activated or the scoring tool fails to load — contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction with the score or guidance, or failure to use the product. All sales are final after 7 days.

All content, design, scoring methodology, and AI prompt architecture underlying the Service are the exclusive property of Signed MD | DO. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license described above.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signed MD | DO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to lost compensation, missed employment opportunities, or reliance on scoring or AI guidance.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for your license.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke your license without refund if you violate these Terms, including unauthorized sharing of license keys or misuse of the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action.
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will not remove core functionality (offer scoring and AI guidance) without notice to active license holders.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Michigan.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
